100 days of the Boy King reminds me of the old story of the cat who was making whoopee with the skunk under the back porch. Cat finally said, “Pew..I’ve enjoyed all of this I can stand.”
Great article this morning by Michelle Malkin. Don’t miss it.

100 Days of the Poser Presidency
By Michelle Malkin
MichelleMalkin.com
My syndicated column commemorates Barack Obama’s 100 days with the Scare Force One story as a take-off point. Imagine if this fiasco had happened under George Bush’s watch. It would have made the Left’s incessant carping over the “fake plastic turkey,” Mission Accomplished banner, and My Pet Goat incidents look like nothing.
We now know thanks to WCBS in NY that the feds knew the “mission” would cause panic and that they went ahead with the secret plans, anyway. There are still a lot more unanswered questions about what happened in the skies above New York City. I have filed two FOIA requests with the Office of the Secretary of Defense and Joint Staff FOIA Requester Service Center seeking more info, including the flight manifests; communications that would shed light on the origin of the “mission,” and copies of any and all photos taken on the taxpayer-subsidized journey. Let’s have some of that vaunted transparency Barack Obama is always talking about…..

How bad will it have to get before the Boy King acts decisively? Guess we’ll have to wait for the administration to calculate acceptable losses for the sake of political correctness with Mexico.
If the U.S. death rate turns out to be severe, this will go down in the books as the Obama Flu. And why not? He is, after all, President Pork.

The position of Homeland Security Secretary was supposed to be a-political, focused on the safety of Americans. Instead Janet Napolitano turns back the clock to 9/10 with politically correct drivel like this. From SpiegelOnline International’s 03/16/2009 interview:
‘Away From the Politics of Fear’
Janet Napolitano, 51, is President Obama’s new Homeland Security Secretary. She spoke with SPIEGEL about immigration, the continued threat of terrorism and the changing tone in Washington.
SPIEGEL: Madame Secretary, in your first testimony to the US Congress as Homeland Security Secretary you never mentioned the word “terrorism.” Does Islamist terrorism suddenly no longer pose a threat to your country?
Napolitano: Of course it does. I presume there is always a threat from terrorism. In my speech, although I did not use the word “terrorism,” I referred to “man-caused” disasters. That is perhaps only a nuance, but it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur.
I can’t find a good alternative here. If the Secretary believes this politically correct baloney, than she’s a moron. I she’s is just regurgitating what Boy King is spoon feeding her, than she is willing to compromise the safety of the country to protect her own appointed political position. Wonder what Mary Ann Glendon would have done?

Mary Ann Glendon is a woman of true character, head and shoulders above the sycophant Notre Dame officials who flushed the church’s central “sanctity of life principle” to court favor with the Boy King, Mr. Partial Birth Abortion himself.

You would think, after 9/11, it might occur to someone in the administration that New Yorkers would appreciate a heads up about the DOD photo op. If this is an example of Boy King’s “new transparency in government,” I’m not impressed.

DOD Photo Op
NEW YORK CBS ―
Some military aircraft flying over lower Manhattan caused a brief scare for residents, workers, and pedestrians on Monday, but CBS 2 has learned the jets were part of a Department of Defense photo shoot and that there is no threat to the city…..
In fact, one might even conclude Boy King is less than sincere in his expressed concern for the wellbeing of his subjects (fka: U.S. citizens). At very least, someone in the DOD was pretty numb in its disregard for the feelings of New Yorker’s.

Children Who Get ADHD Drugs Score Higher on Tests
Monday, April 27, 2009
FoxNews (Reuters)
Children given stimulants to treat attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder symptoms score higher on math and reading tests than children with the condition who do not get drugs, researchers said on Monday.
A study that tracked 594 children diagnosed with ADHD from kindergarten through fifth grade found the 60 percent who were prescribed drugs such as Ritalin and Adderall performed better on standardized tests than peers with ADHD who were not given medication…..

I’d like to believe that newspaper circulation is declining because people are fed up with the liberal bias. But there may be a simpler explanation. As the nation has become more liberal, fewer people can read.

Obama’s health fine after trip to Mexico
WASHINGTON AP – President Barack Obama’s health is fine a little more than a week after he traveled to Mexico, where an outbreak of swine flu has killed at least 68 people and sickened more than 1,000, the White House said Saturday.
“The president’s trip to Mexico has not put his health in any danger,” said spokesman Robert Gibbs…..
Strange, though. Every time he opens his big mouth in a foreign country, I get sick to my stomach. Maybe I’m just experiencing sympathetic labor pains in the birth of American Socialism.

Obama warned at Holocaust memorial
By Alexander Burns

President Barack Obama’s visit to Capitol Hill for the Holocaust Day of Remembrance ceremony turned into more than just a solemn memorial event Thursday morning. As the president sat waiting for his turn at the podium, a series of speakers admonished him, in terms both veiled and direct, to confront Iran’s government as a threat to Jews and to Israel.
“Honoring the dead must not be the sole purpose of remembrance. It must help us shape a better future,” said Israeli Ambassador Sallai Meridor. “When a regime is again … terrorizing its neighbors, threatening to destroy the Jewish people, how will we meet this challenge before it’s too late?”
Meridor kept his message implicit, but the subtext was clear: The world must stop Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon…..
